Hello and thank you for reading my list!!! Just like the BTS one, we're rating the whole Tyler, the Creator discography from worst to best. Tyler, the Creator is interesting because over the course of his career his style and sound has changed a lot!! I have been a Tyler fan for a while so I think that I have enough knowledge about his sound and everything to make good opinions on his music.

Review:
While Wolf sees Tyler, the Creator maturing after his first two albums, this one just is not as enjoyable to listen to! The quality rarely dips lower or higher than 'pretty good' :( Just a bunch of 7/10 tracks, + Treehome & Lone (which are at the end of the 71 minute album!!) Not to mention stuff like 48, Colossus, Tamale and Domo23, which is just boring to listen to. Not as good as I remember it being at all.
Rating: 7/10
Best track: Lone
Worst track: 48

1. WOLF - 8/10

Scum Fuck Flower Boy

Review:
Flower Boy feels like maybe a sort of watered down version of Cherry Bomb? A much sweeter, matured sound like is shown on Cherry Bomb, but more cleaned up, refined, possibly to win more people over (which definitely worked, this was every critic's favourite Tyler album when it came out) sort of like when everybody hated Kanye so he put out MBDTF, even though we all know 808s is a better album. This one is very sweet and very well done, though. Lots of really great tracks on here, but there's no banger that stands up to DEATHCAMP and there's nothing as good as FUCKING YOUNG or FIND YOUR WINGS... it's still pretty good though.
Rating: 7/10
Best track: 911 / Mr. Lonely
Worst track: I Ain't Got Time
Track ratings:
1. Foreword - 8/10
2. Where This Flower Blooms - 8/10
3. Sometimes...

Review:
Tyler is aware of the success of Bastard and writes this album in response to all of it. The way I see it, I think that Tyler was worried about losing fans with this album, so he threw in a few tracks to appeal to the #Swag #Rape fans which really bring the album down. For a few of these, he's definitely trying too hard. Besides those tracks though, there's some really great highlights on this album (maybe a bit less than Bastard, though). Nightmare is still one of my favourite's by Tyler, and my listen of this album for this list has made me realise that Sandwitches is pretty good (I used to hate it!!) Pretty good album overall!!
Note: I would hate Radicals more if it didn't have something so endearing about it ???? It's just a nice song, but it sucks. I guess
Rating: 7/10
Best track: Nightmare
Worst track: If Boppin' Bitch counts as it's own track then its that, but otherwise its Radicals
Track ratings:
1. Goblin - 7/10
2. Yonkers - 8/10
3. Radicals - 5/10
4. She - 8/10
5. Transylvania - 7/10
6. Nightmare - 9/10
7. Tron Cat - 7/10
8. Her - 9/10
9. Sandwitches - 8/10
10. Fish / Boppin' Bitch - 6/10 (Fish is great but Boppin Bitch is like Tyler's worst song)
11. Analog - 8/10
12. B.S.D. - 7/10
13. Window - 7/10
14. AU79 - 6/10
15. Golden - 7/10

Bastard

Review:
Bastard is really, really great for what it is - an 18 year old's self-produced first ever album. Very concise, and rarely dips in quality (I'm looking at u, 'French!') and tells us exactly how Tyler is feeling about everything - pissed off !!! The production is obviously cheap which gives it a sort of lo-fi, charming quality (it really works for the album!!!) And for so early on in his career, it has some of his best songs! Odd Toddlers, VCR/Wheels and Inglorious are all still really amazing today, standing up to Tyler's future work. It's great!!
Rating: 8/10
Best track: Odd Toddlers
Worst track: French!
Track ratings:
1. Bastard - 8/10
2. Seven - 8/10
3. Odd Toddlers - 10/10
4. French! - 5/10
5. Blow - 7/10
6. Pigs Fly - 9/10
7. Parade - 7/10
8. Slow It Down - 7/10
9. AssMilk - 8/10
10. VCR/Wheels - 10/10
11. Session - 9/10
12. Sarah - 7/10
13. Jack and the Beanstalk - 7/10
14. Tina - 7/10
15. Inglorious - 10/10

Review:
Wow! The progression from Wolf to here is really insane. This really is completely solid, with (like Bastard) some of Tyler's best best songs (FIND YOUR WINGS and FUCKING YOUNG / PERFECT <3) and it was the best thing for Tyler to do after 3 quite similarly themed albums. The only real 'weak' track is KEEP DA O'S but that one's definitely better than the worst tracks on every other Tyler album before this one. Shout out 2 SMUCKERS for having a great Kanye verse, BLOW MY LOAD and 2SEATER for having great production, DEATHCAMP for being super hard... yea this one's just amazing.
(Note: For this review I am listening to the CD version that has 2 extra tracks with SPECIAL and YELLOW)
Rating: 8/10
Best track: FUCKING YOUNG / PERFECT
Worst track: KEEP DA O'S
Track ratings:
1. DEATHCAMP - 8/10
2. BUFFALO - 7/10
3. PILOT - 8/10
4. RUN - 7/10
5. FIND YOUR WINGS - 10/10
6. CHERRY BOMB - 8/10
7. BLOW MY LOAD - 9/10
8. 2SEATER - 9/10
9. THE BROWN STAINS OF DARKEESE LATIFAH PARTS 6-12 (REMIX) - 7/10
10. FUCKING YOUNG / PERFECT - 10/10
11. SMUCKERS - 8/10
12. KEEP DA O'S - 6/10
13. OKAGA, CA - 9/10
14. YELLOW - 8/10

Review:
It's Flower Boy but better, sounds like a Cherry Bomb part two. Wasn't tooo hot on it when it first came out but listening now after all the hype around the album has past it's clear that this really is one of Tyler's best albums, so consistently great. Maybe it doesn't have the highlights that Bastard or Cherry Bomb does, but it also doesn't have any French!'s or KEEP DA O'S's. Super catchy hooks, lush (but not ultra-clean like Flower Boy) sounding production... and it's got GONE, GONE and A BOY IS A GUN on it. What more could u want. It's super great.
Rating: 9/10
Best track: A BOY IS A GUN
Worst track: I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE
Track ratings:
1. IGOR'S THEME - 8/10
2. EARFQUAKE - 9/10
3. I THINK - 9/10
4. EXACTLY WHAT YOU RUN FROM IS WHAT YOU END UP CHASING
5. RUNNING OUT OF TIME - 9/10
6. NEW MAGIC WAND - 8/10
7. A BOY IS A GUN - 9/10
8. PUPPET - 8/10
9. WHAT'S GOOD - 8/10
10. GONE, GONE / THANK YOU - 9/10
11. I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE - 8/10
12. ARE WE STILL FRIENDS? - 8/10
Things that we can conclude from this list:
I definitely prefer experimentation over cleaner-sounding projects (Cherry Bomb & IGOR vs. Wolf & Flower Boy) and I have a soft spot for Bastard and Goblin because of how honest they are!! Her feels like a conversation between Tyler and the listener whereas with a track like November (which is supposed to be a similar 'confessionary' type track) sounds to me dishonest and disconnected. It will be interesting 2 see where Tyler goes next after IGOR!
What would your rating be like?? Comment n tell me! I will post again the next time I have the inspiration to do so. Thank u very much for reading and I hope you enjoyed!
Let's get into it!!
